This rare compilation LP Decca/Coral (AFM-721, released in 1981) compiles several of their Decca sides from 1934-41 and several of their Coral sides from 1954. The 1934-1941 recordings feature the great Roy Rogers as a lead singer. The Coral records are from 1954. One side of the LP is devoted to each label.
I will be listing several Sons of the Pioneers and Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys LPs during the next few weeks. Some of the albums feature the Original Texas Playboys after the death of Wills in 1973. They were in a large collection I acquired from the Texas estate of a huge collector of Western Swing and Country Music memorabilia. Many of the LPs are factory sealed. Many are signed, including some very rare photographs. If you are a Traditional Country Music fan, and especially a Bob Wills fan, be sure to bookmark my site. Have fun bidding.
