Up for sale is the ULTRA RARE EP (33 RPM) David Sinfield NY TWO cover for the EP OBLIQUE STRATEGY!!! Not only is it Rare on it's own, it is even rarer because it is a white label promo signed by DJ Deirdre O'Donohue! On Taursus Records, LTD. 7" 33 rpm. Regular versions of this have a PLAIN sleeve with the credit sheet. This has the NY TWO cover AND the credit sheet AND plain inner sleeve!
THIS MAY BE THE ONLY ONE EVER TO BE PUT UP FOR SALE THAT HAS BOTH THE PLAIN SLEEVE & NY TWO SLEEVE WITH THE CREDIT SHEET! IT HAS SOLD ON DISCOGS WITHOUT THE NY TWO COVER FOR AN AVERAGE OF $499.99! PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS FOR CONDITION (especially the cover)!
This record was owned by a DJ 1st out of Worcester, MA (WBCN) then to California-- Santa Monica's KCRW and Los Angeles' KLSX! Her name was Deidre O'Donohue (she passed away in 2001). Because these singles were hers, the vinyls are in excellent condition. Her radio show, SNAP (Saturday Night Advante Pop) in the 1980's showcased many "indie" bands and many bands were imports--as is most of this lot! She also had a radio show in L.A. called "Breakfast with the Beatles". Most of her 45's are in near mint condition. A few may be closer to VG+.
