1981 LIPS HARD ‘N HEAVY LP PRE-ANVIL CDN (NR) Up for auction is a rare copy of the 1981 LP HARD ‘N HEAVY BY TORONTO HEAVY METAL ROCK ACT LIPS (PRE-ANVIL) – SPLASH RECORDS # 007 (Made In Canada). This album was released by the band independently before signing with Attic Records. Only 1,000 copies of this LP were pressed. It was recorded between July and December, 1980 at Quest Recording Studios in Oshawa, Ontario. The record is in Excellent Playing Condition. The jacket is in good shape with a couple of creases (nothing excessive). Tracks on the record include: Side A – School Love, AC/DC, At The Apartment, I Want You Both (With Me), Bedroom Game, Side B – Ooh Baby, Paint It Black (Rolling Stones’ tune), Oh Jane, Hot Child and Bondage. The band is: Lips (Lead Guitar/Lead Vocals), Dave Allison (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals), Ian Dickson (Bass) and Robb Reiner (Drums). The LP was produced by Allison, Reiner and Lips. I’m sure that it will make a great addition to your collection. THIS IS A 7 DAY AUCTION.
