1982 ASV Transacord Sounds of the Steam Age - 'Trains in the Night' 12" Vinyl LP Steam Train Record recorded by Peter Handford. Featuring Steam locomotives at work on British Railways with goods and passenger trains: on a summer evening in 1959 at Bromsgrove, at the foot of the Lickey Incline; on winter nights on the GW & GC line in the Chilterns in 1961 and 1962; on a summer night on the Central Wales line and during the night and at dawn on the Carlisle-Edinburgh Waverley' route in the spring of 1961.
