Description
This is for a copy of the seminal Black Flag album My War, dated 1983 but released in 1984 by SST Records. Catalog # 023. This is a true first pressing with the listing of "The Swinging Man" and "Forever Time" reversed on the jacket and inner label from the order in which they appear on the record. No UPC. This copy was punk owned, so please read on.
Play tested and overall (both sides) have frequent background crackle and lighter pops, with a few louder pops, and general surface noise. There is some popping at the very start of Side 2. Visually, Side 1 has a lot of scuffing and small scratches, only one of which can be felt a little (and probably the source of louder pops). Side 2 has less, but there is a small white-ish mark right at the start of the side, which does cause some popping right there at the start. There are no skips, nor does it stick anywhere. So this is definitely not a higher grade copy. Jacket has wear overall including some ringwear. Definitely edge and corner wear (but no split seams and the jacket is intact). Creasing to upper left corner. Some litho off the back cover in the lower right corner. Generic white inner sleeve is intact. No SST insert.
Ships with the record in the inner sleeve outside of the jacket, all of which will be in a clear record sleeve. Ships securely packed in a new record mailer.
