Description
Up for sale is a Ghostbusters original soundtrack vinyl record from 1984 by Arista with the catalog number of AL8-8246. This album had been sitting in a base cabinet for quite a number of decades and had quite an amount of dust on it when I found it. Since the original owner of these records is no longer with us anymore, this is technically an estate sale. Either way, the record had been cleaned up as best as I could for the purpose of this auction.

The matrix numbers on the inner groove of this album are as follows...
Side A has AL8-8246 SA-1 handwritten on while a faint A1 stamp followed by a very lightly scribed letter B can also be seen, along with another stamp that seems to read kdisc followed by an handwritten KP. Elsewhere you can also see another lightly stamped 1. Side B has similar matrix codes located throughout the inner groove, with the main handwritten one now being written out as AL8-8246 SB-2 and once again followed by the same kdisc stamp which is immediately followed by the handwritten KP. The lone 1 also appears again, followed by a lightly stamped A7 followed by a lightly scribed letter A.
This album is in generally good shape, however it does have a bit of record rash appearing on the surface, with the round shape of the vinyl marking through the black background of the album cover. There is also some minor wear and tear along the spline and along the edges of the album record sleeve itself (where the vinyl record enters the cover that is). The sleeve itself is a transparent plastic bag with the Arista logo appearing a couple of times throughout it. While it's in good shape, there is a crease that has formed from the record being taken out and put back in the cover.
The record itself may also have some scratches and/or fingerprints on it from previous use.

Furthermore, please note I have no means by which to test this record out to see if it plays perfectly as I do not have a working record player at my disposal. Therefore, please consider this an as-is auction listing.

I'm pretty sure this record will have some value to the right collector out there.
