This record comes with the very rare picture cover. When they first released this record with the picture cover, they sold a bunch of them, but then pulled the remaining copies from the record stores, because they caught a little heat from the picture, a pregnant girl smoking crack, or at least portrayed it and stopped by M.C. Shan. They re-released the record with plain white jackets, and then pressed it again with the blue cold chillin' jackets and pink labels, which weren't used until 1987. Back in the days I heard that the girl in the photo was Roxanne Shante, who was pregnant when the record dropped. Honestly I'm not sure if it's really her, you can't really see her face. But she did rock that same hair style and earrings. Things that make you go hmmmmm! On another note, many years later when Traffic Entertainment reissued the record, they used the same rare picture cover. There's Traffic Entertainment information on the jacket, so you can tell if one is original or not.
This particular record looks good but the jacket is a little rough. The picture cover is original, and not a reissue and it's really rare!
***VINYL: EX / has some light marks, otherwise it's clean.
***JACKET: G / the spine is worn. There's moisture damage on the edges, and the jacket is a little wavy from this. There's some tears on both sides.
