1986 Sealed Mint New Old Stock on ED1 West German DG of Angela Hewitt at the piano in the Bach English Suite, Italian Concerto, Duets and Toccata. Still to this day in the first rank of Bach Pianists, this is probably her debut lp, as it was a part of the prize for winning a Bach competition, flagged to the corner of the sleeve. I adore her Bach playing. 39 year old new old stock from the backroom of a hi-fi shop whose contents I bought over 20 years ago. The owner would order all the albums that had notable recorded sound in Gramophone magazine, and would check the vinyl for flaws or issues then seal it himself. Most 70s and 80s UK and German Vinyl was not sealed, and most of what we see now on offer was shop sealed. I know because I bought loads of it back then, and ever since!
