When Jeff and Sheri asked us to write some notes for their album, we wanted to do it just because they're our kind of folks—good, hard- working people who love the Lord and are trying to serve Him. But this album is our kind of album too! It is full of strong songs with nice arrangements, great picking and singing, and tasteful production. Both Jeff and Sheri come from families rich in the gospel music heritage. Jeff’s father is one of the Easter Brothers and Sheri's mother is Polly of the Lewis Family. With this album they continue in the great musical tradition of their families. “A New Tradition" has all the integrity of traditional gospel music and has an ^/approach that is fresh and exciting.
