This is an MCA Promo of the self-titled Lillian Axe album. This is when Lillian Axe band members included Stevie Blaze, Ron Taylor, Jon Ster, Rob Stratton and Danny King. Some of the greatest early gems like Dream of a Lifetime, Nobody Knows, Misery Loves Company and Inside Out made their debut here. I am including a little piece of memorabilia with this, a Crown Royal bag. We used to bring a bottle of Crown Royal to their concerts because we knew it was Ron and Jon's favorite (and maybe some of the roadies). One night, Ron gave me this bag and said it was signed by everyone, even some roadies, just to say thanks. Anyone who knew Ron, knew he was like that. It's hard to make out the signatures, it was hard even back then. But it's a cool story about a cool band and some good times. This has been stored away for a long time. This vinyl is in excellent condition..both cover and the album itself. This album is a must have for anyone who collects Lillian Axe, the best band ever, in my opinion, that never got the recognition they deserved. A great piece of early Axe history!
