Promo copy signed by Peter Buck
Over 20 years ago, this LP was a competition prize from a local Manchester commercial radio station when Peter Buck was a studio-guest. My wife was the winner and received the prize - see the letter from the radio station which accompanied the LP when it was posted to her. The letter is signed by Pete Mitchell who presumably was the DJ - it's so long ago I can't remember.
I have no experience of grading vinyl records and this record has not been played for over 20 years. Visually, it looks fine but, as I don’t own a turntable these days, I have no means of confirming it’s condition. However, if the winning bidder is not satisfied with the condition, on return of the item I will happily refund the purchase price. There is some wear to the sleeve in the middle of all three sealed edges (see photos above). The sleeve was in this condition when we received it from the radio station - of course we couldn't complain as we hadn't paid for it. I assume Peter Buck was doing the rounds of radio stations carrying a box of promo LP's for distribution and they have got wear damage in the box as he travelled around the country.
