1B/1B Mothers/Stampers-THE earliest you can get!!!

Released first in the USA on the 30th of July 1965 and then released in the UK a few months later on the 24th of September 1965, it reached number 1 in the US, but only number 2 in the UK charts.
It is a mish-mash of recordings, riding high after their 'Satisfaction' success. Unusually, the US album included the tracks 'The Last Time' and 'Satisfaction' but within the couple of months between the US release and UK release, The Stones added different exclusive songs to their UK release, dropping the two above.

THE EARLIEST MOTHERS & STAMPERS YOU CAN GET!! These Mothers/Stampers show it was probably one of the 1st 900 EVER pressed for the 9A/9A release! I can tell this as DECCA used 'BUCKINGHAM' as their coding, so '1' is the 1st Mother and 'B' is the 1st Stamper (with 'U' being the 2nd Stamper and so on). As these reference disc wore out after a time there is a general school of thought they would last for between 600 and 900 pressings, after which they would be changed to '2' Mother and 2nd Stamper: ;U' for example. SO THIS BABY IS THE VERY EARLIEST YOU COULD GET!!!

 SOUNDS GREAT!!
There are lightmarks to the vinyl, but nothing deep. After just playing her all the way through, it still has all the raw power of The Stones in '65....Providing quality audio.
Just a very, very slight edge bump, which I did not find affected the playback.
I noticed some light and occasional background noise, with some light pops on "Good Times" but nothing offensive. I then noticed a tiny, tiny micro skip on track 1, side 2...but couldn't find the mark-so think this will play over with a heavier stylus than mine.
Quality vinyl.
Right now she has QUALITY BASS and is very clear throughout with just light background noise-which certainly did not affect my enjoyment of listening to her all the way through.
WOW-put her on yer decks and turn her RIGHT UP!!..I did :)

Lovely deep red UNBOXED DECCA labels. Light spindle marks visible and only a very small degree of hole wear. Deep, crisp and clear groove.

 It is the Robert Stace cover.
Nice laminated cover. There are only a couple of spidering points to the laminate, certainly nothing to detract from is wonderful shimmer. The bottom of the cover has somekind of fading-please see the detailed images for yourselves.
Lovely strong spine.
