1968 UK 1st Mono Pressing
Contains the 1G stamper on side A, which means the very first stamper used and therefore closest to the original master tapes! I've never seen another for this album.
EMI credits on all four labels.
Comes with poster and four pictures.
Apple, PMC 7067/8
A legendary double album, arguably the greatest of all time. Certainly the band's most experimental effort.
Record 1 is visually G+. A decent sheen, but has some scratches, one of which causes some skips in the first half of Wild Honey Pie. Probably depending on your setup, there may be two singular skips on Back In The USSR and Happiness Is A Warm Gun; one of my setups played them without skipping. The other setup unfortunately jumped.
Other than the skipping, the record does actually play very well without any loud crackle/surface noise. Only the occasional light click/pop, plus three quick 'fizz' sounds on Blackbird. Sorry about the crap terminology there, I didn't know how else to describe it.
Record 2 is visually similar, and has another potential jump at the end of Mother Nature's Son (same situation as USSR and Warm Gun). Other than that, plays very well.
Overall, it's a G+/G+. But still enjoyable in my opinion.
The sleeve is a very nice VG+ example. Black inners are in decent VG shape (smallest little split on the bottom seam of one). Poster and cards in VG condition.
So overall, a decent copy.
