1st 300 pressed!!! 1G/1G
Released on the 21st of Feb 1975...Entering the UK Album Chart on the 8th of March, this was John's 10th solo album release which this time only reached the highest position of 6th in the UK charts.
A little known fact is the original title John wanted for the album was "Oldies But Mouldies." Non of the songs were penned by John and there was constant disagrement between John and Phil Spector.
The front cover has John in a pub entrance in Hamburg and the blurred figures are Paul, George and either Best or Sutcliffe....

She has been played quite a few times...I just played her all the way through and found two tiny skips at the start of each side-that is with a very light needle, so slightly heavier and I am sure she will play all the way through without a problem.
Lots of light marks to her.

BUT HEY-You're looking at this little beauty for it's history-having THE VERY FIRST MOTHERS AND STAMPERS...Now not many peaople can say that!
The Labels: EX. Dark APPLE labels in lovely condition and free from writing.
Only has very light traces of spindle marks when angled towards the light-would frame well.
The Cover: VG. Garrod & Lofthouse. Has light rubbing to the corners and the back darker black sections, showing some ring wear...I am being incredibly critical-please see the detailed photo's for yourselves.
Certainly NO splits/tears or writing.
The Inner: G+. ORIGINAL inner with the die-cut corners. Has small splits to each seam but does carry the EMI "Important Notice" text.
No writing.
ALL IN ALL THIS IS AN HISTORIC PIECE WHICH NOT MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO SAY THEY HAVE-A VERY 1ST 300 PRESSING FROM WHEN IT WAS RELEASED IN 1975!
