Here is a MEGA RARE Little Richard lp from my collection offered up for sale: "Here's Little Richard" (Richard Penniman) The R&R icon's debut album!, this is an authentic 1957 1st pressing released by Specialty Records SP-100 "Long Playing Microgroove" Mono with the EARLY 57 labels with different number (SP-100) than later 1957 pressings (SP-2100). This heavy weight rigid vinyl record is made of a different material than 2nd pressing. This early pressing has a shellac type record which is much more fragile than the late 1957 pressings. As a result, most of these didn't survive the 57 years since it's release!. This hard to find 1st pressing has a book value of up to $500! This record rates a very respectable VG, is clean and glossy, has some sleeve wear and a few light marks, nothing heavy, vinyl has been generally well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays with very good sound quality from start to finish, a few songs have some minimal surface noise but overall still very enjoyable! No skips, no jumps! . The vintage labels are clean, no signatures, very little spindle wear, one tiny sticker on one side. The vintage cover rates VG- , is clean, no signatures or writing, top and bottom seams have been taped with masking tape years ago, binder edge is also partially split, clean portrait of Little Richard (see pics).
