I HAVE DECIDED TO DOWNSIZE MY SINGLES COLLECTION AND HAVE SOMETHING REALLY SPECIAL FOR ALL YOU COLLECTORS OUT THERE WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH RONNIE SELF! IN THE COMING TIME I WILL LIST A SELECTION OF RARE VINYL RECORDED BY RONNIE IN THE FIFTIES AND EARLY SIXTIES! IT WILL EXIST OF ORIGINAL SINGLES, E.P.,  MINI LP RE-ISSUES, A PROMOTIONAL COPY, A SINGLE WITH HAND WRITTEN LABEL, AND AN ORIGINAL 78 TITLED: AIN'T I'M A DOG ON THE OCTAGONAL CORONET LABEL!

JUST FOR THOSE  AMONG YOU THAT DON'T REALLY KNOW RONNIE. HE WAS A TRUE ROCK 'N' ROLL PERFORMER WHO WROTE MOST OF HIS OWN SONGS. AS SOMETIMES HAPPENS IN THE MUSIC WORLD, THIS TRUE TALENT DIDN'T GET THE RECOGNITION OF A LARGE PUBLIC. BORN IN 1938 HE TRAGICALLY  DIED EARLY IN 1981, AUGUST 28TH.

HIS SONGS WERE MOSTLY COMBINATIONS OF RAW ROCK AND ROLL AND ROCKABILLY, WITH A FEW BALLADS AND COULD HAVE TURNED THE LIKES OF JERRY LEE LEWIS, GENE VINCENT, ELVIS PRESLEY PALE AROUND THE NOSE. MAYBE THEY EVEN HAVE, AS I'M CONVINCED THOSE MORE WELL KNOWN ROCK 'N' ROLL SINGERS MUST HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THE CONTRIBUTION OF FINE SONGS WRITTEN BY THE MAN HIMSELF: RONNIE SELF. 

THIS 7 INCH, 45 RPM WAS THE VERY FIRST AUSSIE RELEASE OF RONNIE SELF!

TWO GREAT 1956 ROCK 'N' ROLL SONGS ON VINYL ON THE W&G LABEL.

THIS SINGLE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. LIGHT SCRATCHES WHO DO NOT REALLY AFFECT PLAY,  WITH SOME CRACKLE AUDIBLE. NO SKIPS OR JUMPS. PLAYS NICELY THROUGH.

THE ORIGINAL SLEEVE, UNDERSTANDABLE AFTER 52 YEARS, HAS SOME WEAR, SOME TEARING, A STAIN AND TAPE RESIDUE AND ALSO THERE IS SOME WRITING ON IT.

THERE IS SOME WRITING AND A ROYALTY STAMP ON THE LABELS.
