FOR SALE IS AN EXTREMELY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ROLLING STONES 1964 FIRST PRESS USA 12 X 5 IN MONO.  THE RECORD IS HEAVILY PLAYED WITH HUNDREDS OF LIGHT FINE MARKS BUT NO DEEP SCRATCHES AND NOT BY ANY MEANS A TRASHED COPY. ITS SOMEWHERE IN THE G+ TO VG MINUS RANGE.   THE COVER IS A NICE STRONG VG. SEE PICS. THERE ARE SOME LIGHT DINGS ON THE UPPER LEFT CORNER AND A NAME BUT  FRONT AND BACK ARE NICE AND CLEAR WITH LIGHT RINGWEAR. NICE AND STURDY AS WELL. MATRIX ON EACH SIDE ENDS IN 1A.

    Late 1964 pressing on the maroon, "unboxed" London label (see pictures). The earliest 1964 pressings were on London FFRR label, with discs that were actually pressed in the UK. These second pressings represented by this entry were actually the first pressings of this (US) LP to actually be manufactured in the US. There is some debate as to whether these dark maroon US records were manufactured at the same time as 'first editions' made in England.

     Also, back cover misspells the song 'Congratulations' as 'Congradulations'. This is corrected on the disc label.
