Description
It gives me much pride, to offer for auction, the very first AC/DC single~1974 original pressing~Albert Productions AP-10551: CAN I SIT NEXT TO YOU,GIRL~ROCKIN' IN THE PARLOUR,in beautiful pristine condition.
The matrix numbers on the run off wax are:7YAPA1173~7YAPA1174.
This rare and highly valuable item is a true credit to the previous owner and will truly delight the winning bidder.
Both tracks have beautiful clean vinyl and the labels are likewise grading of the highest order
Both sides grade near mint on vinyl appearance and with no spindle marks ,that I could see on the labels, this rare item may never have been played?
I tested the intro on each track, for audio and tracking checks and its 100%.
I'm sure you don't need to be reminded about the history of this very first AC/DC single, but it was recorded and issued, prior to Bon Scott joining AC/DC.
Dave Evans was the lead singer on both these tracks and Can I Sit Next To You, Girl is actually the a-side, but this record is identified by the b-side track, Rockin' In The Parlour, because the a-side was re-recorded and re-issued, after Dave left and Bon joined.
The winning bidder is also welcome to a CD that I have, that includes both these 2 Dave Evans~AC/DC recordings, plus other rare recordings of the Bon Scott era and that will be included at no extra charge and it gives the new owner the chance to play these tracks, without having to damage his or her investment (which could be a name your own price item in years to come!!).
The label on the Rockin' In The Parlour side is in near mint condition, as is the a side, with two very light , what look like finger prints, that may well clean off and are hardly noticed.
Full insurance and registration will be made available and with this rare AC/DC 7" being traded now for up to $1000 and sometimes more, the winning bidder will be offered that insurance and registration, at cost and can be reassured that their investment has been underpinned.
Postage is $5.00 locally and $12.00 Airmail for overseas (cheaper to Japan,Hong Kong & New Zealand etc).
