"These Boots Are Made For Walking"
ULTRA-RARE Australian 7" single by Australian band The Boys Next Door,
that later evolved into The Birthday Party, and then Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
The band then featured Nick Cave, Mick Harvey, Tracy Pew and Phillip Calvert;
Roland Howard joined the band later in 1978. "These Boots Are Made For Walking"
is a great cover version of the classic Lee Hazelwood song, first recorded by Nancy
Sinatra. A staple of their live set, this was the band's and Cave's first ever recording,
released in March 1978 on the Suicide label. Backed with the Cave and Harvey penned
track "Boy Hero", this single is a rarity: only about 1,500 copies of this record were ever
pressed. It's in the original black & white checked Suicide paper sleeve. Don't miss out!

Vinyl: Very good plus to excellent (looks as though it has rarely been played,
and well looked after; virtually no spindlewear; very clean and glossy; a
small name stamped in purple ink on the Suicide logo, Side B label)
Sleeve: Good plus, considering its age (paper sleeve has some light creasing
and wear; light discolouration of white areas; a bit faded at the top edge; a
few small tears around the inner circle edge, and one in the top open edge;
a small name stamped in purple ink on one side, only visible in white areas.)
