The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland
Original UK pressing with A1/B2 runouts from 1968 with white text and Hendrix photo on left gatefold. Double LP released by Track Record, catalog 613 008/9. Original cover art/photo that was banned/withdrawn in some places. Hendrix's portrait is on the left side of the gatefold instead of right (most UK copies have it on right). Gatefold cover has "unwrapped/floating" gloss laminate applied (you can see the matte print areas exposed at the edges of the cover). Small sepia images of Redding & Mitchell to the right with inside text below them. Track Record's logo is centered and the number 2657 001 is underneath the text. White text version. Original digits or letters in matrix are stamped except '8' on Side A which is etched by hand. Runouts are as follows (discs are auto coupled):

This very rare issue is Discogs release #34205185 and only "23 Have" vs. "93 Want" on Discogs. There are two copies of this release currently for sale on Discogs asking GBP530 (~$750 total) and E680 (about $800 total).
The original audiophile inner sleeves are included (see pictures). Discs will ship in new audiophile sleeves. UPDATE: I'm told the inner sleeves' encoding dates to 1972, meaning they're not original inner sleeves, but they are appropriate representations for what the original inners would have been. Just passing along the information but don't want to change what I originally wrote.
The sleeve grades in VG+ condition. Gloss and color across the front, inside and back of the gatefold are excellent. The cover is very clean. There is some corner softening but they generally maintain their shape. There is some ring wear on the front and gatefold interior and just a little ring wear on back at the right angles. This is the white text edition, not blue. Also it's the reversed gatefold edition with the Jimi picture on the left inside of the gatefold, not the right. Almost no edgewear and a visible scratch on the lower right back. Overall just a beautiful cover for almost 60 years old.
The vinyl grades in Strong VG+ condition (my highest grade for used vinyl). Playback is basically perfect with no surface/background noise at all or other deficiencies. There are a few very light surface marks visible to the naked eye and some further very light scratches/hairlines visible under direct bright light. None of these marks impact play and are the only reason it's not a "like new" album. Labels are in excellent and clean condition. Just excellent vinyl condition all around.
