FROM THE 1st RUN OF THE BEATLES' BOXSET: PXS 1
This was the Beatles' thirteenth and final album release. Let It Be was originally released as a Box Set, with "The Beatles Get Back" book. Of course the album went straight to the number 1 position within the Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Record Retailer charts. It stayed there for 3 weeks from the 23rd of May 1970. The release date was the 8th of May 1970 for the box set and the 6th of November for normal album release.
This one up for auction is from the very Boxset mentioned.....

After giving her a gentle vacuum clean I have just had the utter pleasure of playing her all the way through-at volume!...She provided a beautiful sound reproduction with just very light and occasional, soft background noise.
I popped my arm on the lightest setting, turned the volume right up, sat back and marvelled at the quality of the audio blasting out!
The vinyl played a lot better than it looked as under sunlight as I found quite a few light marks to her-but nothing at all to make her jump or skip.
Still has that gorgeous shine.

Superb condition...No writing, rips or tears.
I can only see evidence of a small handful of LIGHT spindle marks, which are ONLY evident when angled toward the light-and specifically looking for them..Lovely!
MINIMAL central hole wear to mention!

Shiny, glossy, rich black colour to both sides.
However-the pictures to the ffront panel appear to have faded in the sunlight...Or it is a mis-printing..?..If the fading wasn't present, this would easily be a Near Mint cover!
The back cover has ZERO FADING and is the very 1st printing run from the Boxset: RED APPLE above the An E.M.I Recording and Apple Records text at the bottom. The spine is still lovely and strong...you can clearly see the writing down the spine "The Beatles Let It Be" & "Apple Recods PCS 7096."
All I note is 2 tiny and faint crescents of spidering to the front laminate-that is all!

WITHOUT writing.

Just some very light creasing-That's it! ...
Certainly done the job in looking after this wonderful slab of vinyl for the past 51 years!
The Book
Poor.
I am including this book just as a little extra as the pages were loose at one time and so somebody punched holes through it and tied them together with string!
It is all original though (other than the holes and string :)

IT ALSO HAS THE BOOK FROM THE BOXSET.
