This was the Beatles' second official release, following their hugely popular Please Please Me. This record was released on the 30th November 1963 and went to the number 1 position (knocking of their own Please Please Me lp) on the 7th of December. Staying at number 1 for 21 weeks! As a little note: they had already sold 250,000 copies before the release and so accepted a silver disc BEFORE release!

Super audio-I have just had the utter pleasure of listening to her all the way through and found very little background noise, with a clear audio, which was lovely and raw.
There are many light marks to the vinyl, but certainly nothing to make the needle jump or skip.
FLAT as the day she was born.
She keeps her all original sheen.
GORGEOUS heavy original vinyl.
GREAT RAW SOUND WHICH REMAINS CLEAN & CLEAR

1st printing run.
Clear text.
There are only very light spindle marks , with barely any central hole wear-as can be seen in the detailed images provided.
When angled towards the light and looking for it-I noticed a light name to side 1 label.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co."
No "Sold In" text.
"Jobete." credit for Money on side 2.
"Really Gotta Hold On Me" listing for track 3, side 2.
These labels were quickly corrected and recalled, making this an increasingly rare copy.
BOLD "MT" tax code, side 2.
(This is quite unusual as the MT tax code was only introduced on the 1st of Jan 1963 and ran only until July 1963-This Lp was released in November 1963-when the KT tax code was introduced).

There are some small spidering areas to the front laminate-near the opening-which carries some light feathering.
To the top of the front is an errased name-see if you can spot it in the detailed images provided..
Good strong, solid corners too.
