Description
1st Promo Issue of Ornette Coleman: Virgin Beauty LP on pristine played once or twice Vinyl. The legendary founder of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia is the guitarist. A great example of the Harmolodics musical style which leans towards a purer form of funk than the more commercial offerings of the time, blended with a jazz sensibility which sometimes goes out to the free without boundaries. That iconic sleeve photo of the African young women and the uncompromising music meant this was ahead of its time. I was a Jazz Promoter back then and we put him in to Birmingham Town Hall to a rapturous response, which I believe was a return to the venue from about the time I was born in the 60s. Should have got him to sign it!. Near mint record and Near Mint sleeve (rear is gold promo stamped) plays near mint with a near mint picture insert. My goal is to find then offer you the best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records, these days mainly from my 45 year personal collection. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
