Voted into the 100 THE BEST rock albums of all time this baby ROCKS! Strangely only reaching the No. 4 position in the UK chart, when released on the 18th of September 1970.

*INCREDIBLY EARLY 1ST PRESS HERE*
The Vinyl:

I gave her a gentle ultrasonic clean, followed by a vacuum clean to take up the final moisture and then played her on both sides-TWICE!
There are light marks to this slab of rock...BUT NO JUMPS OR SKIPS...yes, there are some pops and crackles-but these were pretty soft and didn't overcome the audio...But to be clear-this has been used and probably played at parties-quite right too! More noticeable in quiet sections between tracks but not bad at all-equally not mint or straight from a time machine. I could hear Tommi Lommi slide his fingers up the neck of the guitar for the chord change on Paranoid.

Gatefold NOT LAMINATED cover in great, solid condition. Due to it not being laminated it displays some light rubbing to the edges and spine...BUT NOT RIPS/TEARS OR SPLITS.
NO WRITING EITHER.
Again-great, solid quality from 1970's Sabbath here.
The Inner:
VG-
It is the ORIGINAL VERTIGO ORIGINAL SWIRL inner with the poly-lining.
One side is taped and the other has a split to the seam at the top...There's also a transfer to one side which, as I remember, is from the period ;)
AS THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE ALBUMS IT REALLY WASN'T A CHORE TO LISTEN TO TWICE!
GREAT SOLID AUDIO BLASTING OUT FROM 1970-AS GROUND BREAKING NOW AS IT WAS WHEN RELEASED 55 YEARS AGO!
