Description
The Rolling Stones "The Rolling Stones"
This is a UK vinyl pressing of the first Rolling Stones album. It is a second Mono pressing on Decca LK 4605 from around 1970. The labels are red with silver printing and 'Decca" in a box at top center. On Side One the 4th song is titled "I Need You Baby". The front cover is laminated and it folds over onto the back cover on the left seam. There is no tax code.
The matrix runouts are machine stamped : Side 1 : XARL-6271-6A and Side 2 : XARL-6272-12A.
The songs are : Route 66, I Just Want To Make Love To You, Honest I Do, I Need You Baby, Now, I've Got A Witness (Like Uncle Phil and Uncle Gene), Little By Little, I'm a King Bee, Carol, Tell Me (You're Coming Back), Can I Get A Witness, You Can Make It If You Try, and Walking The Dog.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG / Record is M-
The cover is VG with no writing and no seam splits. There is a light impression from the record, light wear, some of the laminate is separating, and a small bend on the bottom right corner. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plastic lined UK inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Port Townsend, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut composite cardboard. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 7 ounces
The winner has to pay for the postage. It will be shipped by Media mail to a US winner. I will print postage through Ebay and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number. International winners will get shipping through the Ebay Global Shipping Program. I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday). I do not accept returns.
