Description
Nice broad selection from my own collection being offered this week. Superb original British pressings from the 50s to 70s of the cream of modern jazz, many big names, some niche rarities.
1962 ED1 (i.e.1st Uk press) Riverside Mono Thelonious Monk Quartet Plus Two At The Blackhawk LP. A wonderful lp in surely its most desirable form: the audiophile valve amp signal to lathe pressing of the HMV 1st European issue from the Verve master tapes on to high quality virgin vinyl, as was used by HMV in the 60s. Obviously from the same era as the famous cream and gold rimmed Stereophonic ASD highly collectable classical lps, with exactly the same standards and care applied here. Sounds wonderful, as you would expect, and the music is top shelf. (Of HMV's and Parlophones) are added after. VG++ record & sleeve, just with a little age dirt to the rear, would clean up with careful pencil eraser use. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
