One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, a single cherished and many unplayed lps.

An interesting comparison and pair of companion pieces for the SXL collector.

1st grooved Uk Decca double sided test Press with 5w5w stamps & Wide Band Grooved close matching 5w7w stamped early issue of SXL 6099 Rachmaninov 2nd Piano Concerto from Ashkenazy with Kondrashin & the Moscow Phil. A great account, just the right sort of material for the pianism of Ashkenazy. Not mint pressings but good enough for comparisons.

This pair are about vg+ to excellent minus, in excellent sleeves.
