This Lp was released on the 10th July1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 position for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL:143g.
VG.
 Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen. There are some light marks, BUT certainly NOTHING TO MAKE HER JUMP OR SKIP-I have just listened to the whole album and didn't find any less enjoyment in the majority of playback, just some occasional and light background noise, that's it! (More noticable on the last track of side 1, where she would benefit from a gentle professional clean to suck the stuff out of the grooves here).
Still very nice indeed....Remains clear.

 Outer text "The Parlophone Co. LTD" (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.

There's a small name in black biro to side 2, but this is difficult to spot-see if you can see it in the detailed images provided...

*It is the rarer E J Day cover...typically manufactured at a ratio of around 10:1 in comparison to the Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves.
You don't find this very often at all for the Hard Days Night cover!!*
The cover has been used, but loved, with little fingers of spidering emanating from the seams and just a few small crescents of spidering to the opening.
NO SPLITS OR TEARS!!
There is small, neat name in black pen to the top on the back.

Good STRONG & LEGIBLE spine.
Fantastically strong flipbacks too.


Inner: EX-. She is kept in the all original USE EMITEX lined inner. With "Made In England."
Ony a small degree of feathering to the opening.
