Description

One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, all nice clean originals.

Early 50's 1st type fully laminated curved cut flipback sleeved, red and gold labels: 

WILHELM FURTWANGLER conducting VIENNA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA in the BEETHOVEN Symphony no 5 HMV  1st ed. red/gold label with nipper. Made in England. Record clean NM with one small scuff, sounds great, no pops, scratches or surface wear. Curved cut fully laminated flipback sleeve is excellent with just a bit of laminate peel to the opening, as most of these have by now.

 

. I heard this throughout, and it plays near mint on an ortofon mono cart designed for these early lps.
