NEAR MINT vinyl copy of the album EXODUS by BOB MARLEY + THE WAILERS. 1977 Island Records ILPS 9498 (with black Island labels). SONGS: Natural Mystic; So Much Things To Say; Guiltiness; The Heathen; Exodus; Jamming; Waiting In Vain; Turn Your Lights Down Low; Three Little Birds; One Love / People Get Ready. Raised lettering "Exodus" on cover, came with gold/red inner sleeve w/lyrics and credits. Matrix info: Side A: ILPS 9498 A-10 STERLING. Side B: ILPS 9498 B-18 STERLING. (EARLY PRESSING POSSIBLY 1st - biggest clue is the catalog number on the labels ILPS 9498 PART I b/w PART II). Vinyl is NM. The cover and inner sleeve have a cut corner as this was a unmarked promo copy from the BRAD BELL collection. The cover is VG see corner ding. Inner sleeve VG.
This item is from "THE BRAD BELL COLLECTION". Starting in the late-1960's, for five decades, Brad worked at record stores and record distributors in the Cleveland Ohio area. He collected nearly one of everything, often promotional or even autographed copies of albums and 45's. Before he passed away a couple of years ago, Brad sold me a large chunk of his collection. Most went unplayed and are in factory fresh condition from a vinyl perspective. Many 1st pressings, white label promos, exclusive promotional only records, and even autographed items.
