Description
Two vinyl LP records from the glory days of the Irish showband scene. The Freshmen (featuring Billy Brown and Derek Dean), their classic LP from 1968, "Movin' On", released on the Target label in Ireland, catalog number NPL 18263. Second record is "The Showband Scene", released on the Marble Arch label in 1966, catalog number MAL 644. Sleeve on the Freshmen record has a tired look and the original owner's signature is on the front. Side A of the record has marks and sleeve scuffs, side b has feelable scratches and plays with a pronounced crackle. The 'Showband Scene' cover has a dusty look on the back and the original owner's signature. There are marks and sleeve scuffs on the vinyl but it plays fine. Neither record is top notch by any means but might fill a gap in the collection until better copies comes along.
