Description
Here are two RARE albums from my collection offered up for sale: Two albums by The Beatles that were released in 1982, an album of the first audition sessions with The Beatles at Decca in 1962, album titled "Complete Silver Beatles" and "The Beatles Greatest Hits" an album of 20 hit songs. Both albums have been well cared for, play great!
FIRST: "Complete Silver Beatles" released by Audiofidelity's Audio Rarities AR 2452 stereo. This is the Beatles before fame and was recorded on New Years Day 1962 with fellow Hamburg rocker Pete Best on drums. Decca turned them down (WOW!). This record grades EX, is beautiful, super clean and glossy, only a couple light marks, has very slight warp (does not effect play), looks rarely played and has been very well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The cool metallic cover rates VG+, is clean, deep color with minimal ring wear, has wear to color on edges and corners but are solid, binder edge EX and readable, no splits, no tape, has a couple of bends near edges and corner bumps, no signatures or writing.
PLUS: "The Beatles Greatest Hits" released by Capitol Records SV 12245 stereo. This is 20 of the Beatles songs and one of the few single lp albums, other greatest hits albums by The Beatles were double lp albums. This record grades EX, is beautiful, super clean and glossy, only a couple light marks, looks rarely played and has been very well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The cover rates EX, is clean, bright white, edges and corners show minimal wear and are solid, binder edge EX and readable, no splits, no tape, has a couple of bends near edges and corner bumps, no signatures or writing.
