Description

Two 10" 78rpm recordings on Columbia Personal Record labels featuring early black gospel music by the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C and M. A. Alliance) Gospel Quintette. I believe these date from around 1923/1924.

Columbia Personal Record 47-P - C. & M. A. Gospel Quintette - Standing In The Need of Prayer / I'm Serving The Lord In My Weak Way.

Acoustically recorded. In E- condition, surface marks/scuffs and play wear, and one or two very minor/small lam cracks near the edge that do not sound. Both records play well but with just slightly elevated noise. Labels clean and clear with just minor wear and fading (see photos).

Records will be shipped in newer generic sleeves and will be packed securely in a sturdy box. Free shipping by media mail in USA. No packing or handling charges. No reserve.
