Here are 2 EARLY Andy Warhol cover art adorned Lp albums: An Original 1st pressing of the 1958 Artie Shaw album "Any Old Time" in EX/NM condition, looks rarely played, has been well cared for! The classic original press! Released 1958 on RCA Records LPM-1570. This album's REAR COVER features very cool clock sketch designed by Andy Warhol (A.W. near 2nd bottom clock). Record grades NEAR MINT, is super glossy and clean, pristine, looks rarely played! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The RCA nipper labels are also in excellent condition, no signatures, minimal wear! This vintage cover is EX, close to NM, has great colors, bright whites, all edges and corners solid, no splits, no tape, the binder edge is EX and readable, no signatures or writing. This is a BEAUTY! The original grey RCA inner sleeve is also in excellent condition, no tape or signatures, minimal wear! PLUS an EXTREMELY rare album by Vladimir Horowitz "Piano Music of Mendelsson And Liszt", this early rendering by a young Andy was released in 1952 bon RCA records LM-9021. Rousing piano renditions of the classics! Jacket rates VG, Reportedly this cover art with Andy's finger sketch was replaced soon after original production. The jacket has had a bit of damage where it had been taped at the bottom edge. The damage is limited to the outer edge where a good framer can cover easily.(NOTE: the white flower near V.H.'s lapel is NOT damage)The binder with printed edge is still intact. Upper seam split about 3" at opening. Name stamp and small pen marking at top of rear cover. Record rates VG, some marks on both sides but has nice gloss too! Played great, NO skips or jumps, some pops here and there, light surface noise. Still enjoyable listen! THERE IS NO RESERVE!
