"THE BILLY MAY / STAN KENTON SHOW" RADIO SHOW TRANSCRIPTION DISCS PRODUCED BY THE UNITED STATES NAVY. FOUR COMPLETE 15 MINUTE RADIO PROGRAMS ON THESE TWO 16 INCH, VINYL, 33 1/3 RPM DISCS. THESE DISCS WERE ISSUED TO RADIO STATIONS FOR BROADCAST ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. VERY RARE!
There are two discs, each disc contains one "Billy May Show" and one "Stan Kenton Show" sponsored by The United States Navy with recruiting announcements

"The Stan Kenton Show" program #2 starring Stan Kenton & His Orchestra with the songs "Young Blood", "Portrait Of A Count", "23 Degrees North 82 Degrees West", "My Lady"
"The Billy May Show" program #3 starring Billy May & His Orchestra with the songs "My Last Affair", "When Your Love Has Gone", "Please Be Kind", "Mayhem"
"The Stan Kenton Show" program #4 starring Stan Kenton & His Orchestra with the songs "Crazy Rhythm", "My Reverie", "You And The Night And The Music", "I've Got You Under My Skin"
Discs are in Excellent condition with Excellent or better sound, Beautiful Discs!
Please note that 16" transcription discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD transfer of both discs for the buyer
