Here are TWO RARE white label PROMO albums from my collection offered up for sale: Both are in well cared for condition, play great! FIRST: An original 1967 PROMOTIONAL Lp, "The Best of Wilson Pickett, released by Atlantic Records LP 8151 Mono. This is the radio station DJ 1st pressing in VG+ condition, featuring guitar great Steve Cropper! The vinyl rates solid VG+ is glossy and clean with only light marks that do not affect the play. This record has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with very good sound quality! The white promotional Atlantic labels that are in excellent shape! Includes a vintage Atlantic sleeve. The cover rates VG/VG+, front cover has a couple small stickers, the color is excellent, the edges are very good, the binder edge is readable, top seam neatly repaired, has a couple small pen marks on the rear cover. Has AUDITION COPY stamp at top of rear cover (see all photos).
PLUS: An original 1971 PROMOTIONAL Lp, Wilson Pickett "Don't knock My Love". Released by Atlantic LP SD-8300 STEREO. Wilson covers Stevie Wonder's "You can't Judge a book by it's Cover",Randy Newman's "Mama told me not to come" Paul Rodger's "Fire and Water", and more! The vinyl rates EX is glossy and clean with only a couple light marks that do not affect the play. This record has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality! The white promotional Atlantic labels that are in excellent shape. The cover rates EX, front cover has a promo sticker, the color is excellent, the edges are very good, the binder edge is readable, no splits, nice rear cover.
