Description

ELVIS! 2 1958 EPs from his GREATEST FILM!

1) "KING CREOLE VOL. 1" (RCA #4319 1st pressing EP w/PICTURE COVER, 1958): King Creole/New Orleans/As Long As I Have You/Lover Doll: CLEAN VG+ VINYL & COVER;   plus

2) "KING CREOLE VOL. 2" (RCA #4321 1st pressing EP w/PICTURE COVER, 1958): Trouble/Young Dreams/Crawfish/Dixieland Rock: CLEAN M- VINYL w/VG+ COVER.

2 Elvis EPs from his greatest movie!  Volume 1 has a CLEAN VG+ cover & vinyl; Volume 2 has a CLEAN M- record with a VG+ cover.  This cover would be M- but for faint writing & paper loss on the back side (see last photo).  Bargain-priced pair for turntable, jukebox...or put 'em in The Vault!

King Creole was Elvis' best film; it's got a great story and terrific supporting cast (Walter Matthau, Carolyn Jones & Vic Morrow, to name but a few).  Directed by Michael Curtiz in 1958, before The Colonel took control to grind out 30 mediocre Elvis pictures in the 1960s.

This is also the only time The King recorded anything remotely resembling jazz, in keeping with the Nawlins theme of the film.  But don't worry; he rocks righteously on Trouble, New Orleans & the title tune!

                  One pair only...don't miss 'em!
