Here are TWO vintage albums from my collection offered up for sale: The Lynyrd Skynyrd's FIRST and SECOND albums, one is an original pressing, the other a vintage re-issue, the first album has the gatefold cover with song lyrics inside and the Second album has a cool Sounds Of The South labels! This is the classic "Skynyrd" and a cool set of albums, great songs!
FIRST: Their 1973 debut album "Lynyrd Skynyrd (pronounced. . .)", this is a vintage 1977 re-pressing released by MCA Records MCA 3019. The vinyl rates EX, is super glossy and clean, only a couple light marks, nothing heavy, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish, clear sound, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The late 70's style light brown labels are clean and bright, no stickers or writing, only a few spindle marks. The gatefold cover rates VG+, is clean, has great color, only light edge and corner wear, opening had a partial split neatly repaired with glue, no tape, no signatures or writing, the binder edge is EX and readable, minimal ring wear, great front portrait of the band! The inside gatefold is clean, no center split. Still has the original black MCA printed inner sleeve.
PLUS: An original pressing of Lynyrd Skynyrd's 1974 second album "Second Helping" released by MCA Records with the "Sounds Of The South" label MCA-413 Stereo. This vinyl rates VG+/EX, is super glossy and clean, has only a few light marks, looks minimally played! PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish, minimal surface noise, no skips or jumps! This cover rates VG+, has great deep color with minimal ring wear, edges and corners have minimal wear and are solid, no splits, no tape, no signatures, the binder edge is readable, has some light age discoloration noticeable on back, a great old cover! Still has the original white MCA printed inner sleeve. (see all photos)
