Description
This is a lot consisting of TWO CHESS RECORDS U.S. LPs from the legendary Chicago blues pioneer Howlin' Wolf, with one side of one LP also featuring Chicago blues legend Muddy Waters, both performing with stellar backing bands - Details are as follows:
1) THE LONDON HOWLIN' WOLF SESSIONS - Chess CH-60008 - 1971 Blue label first pressing - With Eric Clapton, Steve Linwood, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Hubert Sumlin, Klaus Voormann, and Ian Stewart - With custom inner sleeve with song lyrics.
2) MUDDY & THE WOLF - Chess CH8200 - 1982 - Reissue of 1969 recordings with Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Paul Butterfield, Mike Bloomfield, Otis Spann, Hubert Sumlin, and Donald 'Duck' Dunn - Muddy Waters side recorded live (Same 1969 live show as on 'Fathers And Sons' album, only one song is duplicated on this album and 'Fathers And Sons'), Howling' Wolf side is studio, recored in England.

Condition of both records is EX with each record having one or two very light and barely visible surface or sleeve marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of both covers is VG+ with both covers having some ring and contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners as the only other real flaws - Covers have no water damage, splits, tears, writing, or stickers. This lot would be a great way to add these two Howlin' Wolf LPs to your blues record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
