Description
Right off, let me say that these two albums are far from perfect (see scans). However, as these albums are tremendously difficult to come by in ANY condition, here's your chance (and affordable way) to get them both at once!
The AD BACK: Overall, this mono "Ad back" is in VERY nice shape. Unfortunately its most prized feature (for which it was named)the Ad back has some damage. For some reason, someone at one time tore off a strip of the back slick at the top (see scan).
THE GOOD NEWS: The rest of the cover is in very nice shape, with almost no wear except for the top and bottom seams. The spine is great and completely readable, and the whole cover is holding together beautifully. The record itself is in great shape also and is the highly desirable "P.S. I Love You" version with the Vee-Jay oval logo. And as an extra added bonus, it is on the under-sized 45 round record label!
The BLANK BACK: Next is the slightly less sought after (but actually more hard to come by) mono "Blank back" version of this classic album. Since a kid the age of the first Beatle-maniacs finds it next to impossible to leave a blank piece of paper blank...needless to say, the back has writing on it (see scan). Also this same perpetrator wrote each Beatle's name in small blue letters by their pictures on the cover next to them. The cover also has a fair amount of edge-wear, spine-wear and ring-wear...but is still firmly together.
THE GOOD NEWS: This album also features the rarer "P.S. I Love You" disc with the Vee-Jay oval logo, but is the regular size label. And the disc could use a good cleaning.
As I stated at the start, these two Beatle albums are far from perfect (and now you know just how far). But the fact that both these versions were produced in extremely few numbers, just owning a copy of them IN ANY CONDITION, is quite an achievement!...And here's your chance to get both of these highly-desirable records at once!
