2 Quadraphonic vinyl records from Japan from the early 1970's, a CD-4 collection of pop/jazz arrangements of songs from film, Victor CD-4 Sounds Orchestra's "CD-4 Golden Screen Theme Quadradisc" from 1973 in CD-4 Quad, and an introductory disc from Toshiba from around 1972 or 1973 marketing QS 4 Channel Quad sound. Arrangements by Makoto Kawaguchi.
CD-4 Golden Screen Theme LP features the Victor CD-4 Sounds Orchestra directed by Makoto Kawaguchi, who was later involved in the Passionata (???????) records.
LP is VG+/Cover is MINT-/Insert (with instructions on Quad set up) is MINT-.
7" is MINT-/sleeve is a generic one side open white sleeve, it is in okay condition, a fair amount of creasing

From Wik ipedia on CD-4: "Compatible Discrete 4, also known as Quadradisc or CD-4 was as a discrete four-channel quadraphonic system for gramophone records, commonly called "phonograph" records. The system was created by JVC and RCA in 1971[1] and introduced in May 1972. This was the only discrete quadraphonic phonograph record system to gain major industry acceptance."
Other major record companies who adopted this format include A&M, Arista, Atlantic, Capricorn, Elektra, Fantasy, Nonesuch, Reprise and Warner Bros.
In discrete quadraphonic systems, all four channels remain fully independent of each other throughout the entire recording and reproduction chain. There is no intermixing of channels as is done in matrix decoder 4-channel systems such as Stereo Quadrophonic (SQ) and QS Regular Matrix.
Successful CD-4 playback in 4 channels requires a specialized CD-4 demodulator and a phono cartridge which can reproduce a frequency range that extends well beyond normal human hearing. CD-4 demodulators have not been built since the 1970s. Phono cartridges with wide frequency range were rare in the 1970s but became more common in later years.

Quadraphonic Sound (originally called Quadphonic Synthesizer, and later referred to as RM or Regular Matrix) was a matrix 4-channel quadraphonic sound system based on the same principles as laid down by Peter Scheiber, but developed by engineer Ryosuke Ito of Sansui in the early 1970s.
It was adopted by ABC, Advent, Bluesway, Candide, Command, Decca, Impulse, Longines, MCA, Pye, Turnabout and Vox record companies. It was freely licensed to record companies.
The concept of Regular Matrix was often used a synonym to QS, but was actually a standard set by the Japanese governing body, which also embraced the QM and QX matrix systems.
