Description
This is a lot of 2 King Crimson LP's: Their first, "In the Court of the Crimson King," in good, perfectly playable condition, released in 1969. The gatefold cover, certainly one of the best and instantly recognizable in rock history, shows considerable shelf wear, and has a 1" split along the bottom at the opening, but is otherwise perfectly fine.
The other LP, "Larks Tongue in Aspic," came out in 1973, and gets 5 out of 5 stars in the Rolling Stone Album Guide. This is the black label Collector's Edition. The Lark's Tongue LP appears to have never been played. It's THAT clean. Likewise the cover and dust jacket are both in excellent condition. If you're a fan of this vastly talented and under-appreciated band, and wish to hear them on vinyl, on which their music was originally issued, it's very doubtful that you'll find a cleaner version of this particular disc.
All in all, you don't have to be a 21st Century Schizoid Man to realize what a special pair of records this is. Thanks for your consideration.
