Record was purchased by me at a "Head Shop" in 1970-71. In those days these "Special Fan" releases often came in solid white jackets with a minimum of printing or pictures. My wife and I, being the Hippies we were, thought this was a special invitation for a "Make Your Own" artwork for the jacket. We didn't do anything to the front of the jacket. On the back, the song titles are printed neatly with black marker. The album title is also neatly printed on the spine. *THE BONUS IS that my wife made a great inside jacket. There are color pictures of Jimi in performance attempting to destroy his equipment. This is accompanied by an article written from an interview of Jimi's Guitar tech explaining what Jimi likes and doesn't like in his gear. He tells what all kinds of amps, pedals, whammy bars etc. that he has to carry for Jimi to all their gigs. It's a very interesting story, complete, which was probably taken from either a Circus or Hit Parader magazine of the day. It's just like having some great liner notes, and nobody else's copy of this album is going to have this. It's interesting and very well done. Looks professional and you'll enjoy having this great keepsake in your vinyl collection.
Record has only been played no more than twice, and maybe only once. Still glossy and beautiful. Much better copy than any others on eBay. Sleeves & Gatefold jacket are in excellent condition. Practically in new condition. You won't find a a better one.
