Here are TWO original Cream albums from my collection offered up for sale: Both records are from 1967 and are Atco first pressings with the two tone labels, records have light marks but are still play worthy originals, covers are still bright and decent, have vintage Atco inner sleeves! This music is featuring Eric Clapton's fantastic guitar work.
FIRST, A RARE MONO 1st press 1967 CREAM album "Fresh Cream" with the monophonic sound mix, different from Stereo. This mono album came out just as Stereo was just becoming popular and so the album's cover has a sticker that says that, although it's a MONO disc, it "can be played on a stereo sound system" (see photo). This album is their debut album than shook the world! Released on Atco records 33-206. The record grades VG, is glossy and clean, has many light marks, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays great from start to finish with very good sound quality, some light surface noise (unobtrusive), couple light pops, no skips, no jumps, an enjoyable listen! The cover rates only VG, has deep color with no ring wear, has some light edge wear to color, no splits, no tape, binder edge is readable, no signatures or writing, back has some age discoloration near edges, front corner has a wavy spot from moisture and a circle indent, front has some rub marks (barely noticeable), has small punch hole in opposite corner (see all photos). The ATCO 1st press 2 tone Labels are in EX shape! The inner sleeve is clean and bright, center split neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape.
PLUS, The 1967 CREAM album "DISRAELI GEARS" album is also featuring Eric Clapton with Ginger Baker and the late great Jack Bruce. Released on ATCO records 33 232 Stereo. Record grades VG/VG+, is clean and glossy, has some light marks, has been PLAY TESTED ! Both sides play great with very enjoyable sound quality, no skips, no jumps! The cover rates EX, has great colors, clean and bright, minimal edge wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge is readable, no signatures or writing and minimal ring wear! The inner sleeve is clean and bright, shows other Clapton records!
