Description
And she can sing too ! I'm listening as I write. Up for auction is not one but two Priscilla Loves Billy lps... Recorded in the late 60s on the Happy Tiger Label...This lp was done basicly as a tribute to Billy Holiday. I will start with the open one...This lp is right at Vg+ it has a few light scuffs n light scratches and light spotting only seen under certain light conditions... Still very glossy and the labels are basiclly NM... It plays with some Pops n clicks/a little static here n there but is still very enjoyable to me... For a sound grade it also is right around Vg+.The first song on side two has a little more static than anywhere else on the lp it's only about the first 30 sec. into it. I played this record tonite twice/3 times side two on two different turntables, a Dual and a Bang... Each time the first song/side two got better... plus I cleaned that song twice...It's very possible that after a couple more plays even more will dissappear... It's not that bad but I wanted to mention it...If you read this and understand you won't be dissapointed. It's a nice record worthy of this description....Ok... The Jacket... First of all it's textured and done in a sorta Matt Finish that gives it an Old World looking thru hand blown glass look... Also right arounf Vg+...a few light dings/ indents that are barely noticeable straight on.Top left bottom left and right corner have creases...Corners a little dinged... It's still a very presentable Jacket... Now for the sealed one... First lets talk about the shrinkwrap... It's very tight... Only one 1 in. slit at the opening about 2ins. up from the bottom... The shrink is so tight that it appears to have pulled the corners in a little and buckeled a little of the back slick and bowed the jacket a little...The sticker says Dept 53 and the price is 25cents ! I got this and a bunch of others with these kinda prices attached years ago and I plan on selling them all... With this record you can see the ring of the lp and an indent of the label... This jacket is a little darker than the other and the artists' name can be seen at the bottom left... The opened lp front slick was put on a little lower which put the artists' name on the bottom edge.... and you can see the drop on Priscillas' name just above the P... I think that pretty much covers it... Less than 5 Positive Feedbacks email me before bidding or you will be Blocked---I ship with Delivery Confirmation...Thanks so much..If you win more than one auction please do not pay until I send you an invoice. Thanks again...
