Description

 VERY RARE RECORDINGS FROM THE 1950's FROM TWO JAZZ & POP VOCALISTS, ARRANGERS / SONGWRITERS (see photos for complete playlists) :
1) PAGE CAVANAUGH: Carries The Torch (1956) (ERA - EL-20007) - RED VINYL  Page Cavanagh (Jan. 26, 1922 - Dec. 19, 2008) was an American jazz and pop pianist, vocalist, and arranger. He formed a Trio (he was the pianist) after WWII and had hits including, Walkin' My Baby Back Home & All Of Me. He recorded dozens of tracks with Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Dinah Shore, June Christy, Mel Torme and many others. Cavanaugh played in Los Angeles nightclubs through the 1990's. This is his Debut Album as a solo vocalist. CONDITION: Vinyl = Excellent. Cover = Very Good -. Upper and side seam is separated. Color is clean and bright. 
2) JIM LOWE: Wicked Women (1958) (Dot - DLP-3114)  James Lowe (May 7, 1923 - Dec. 12, 2016) was an American singer-songwriter, best known for his 1956 number-one hit song, Green Door. He was also a disc-jockey and radio host and personality, considered an expert on popular music of the 1940's & '50's. This album is a clever commentary on females of tarnished virtue with songs like The Lady Is A Tramp, Hard Hearted Hannah, Put The Blame On Mame & Jezebel among others (see photo of LP for complete playlist). CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Excellent.

LP's come boxed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LP's, with filler pads and bubble wrap on both sides to protect the cover. LP's are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves. The LP is removed from the cover for shipping to prevent seam splitting unless when purchasing a sealed LP or when specified otherwise. Tracking numbers will be provided on all purchases.
