Up for sale are these two rare import vinyl LP records released in Taiwan in 1970 and 1972. The first included classic album the self-titled debut album “The Doors” (CSJ-611), originally released in 1967, but this version was released in Taiwan in 1972. The second included album is The Doors’ “The Soft Parade” released in 1970 (CSJ-869). These early imported records from Taiwan have light weight paper sleeves (not as thick as the cardboard sleeves that came with record albums in the United States and Europe) with plastic covering the outside as well as the inside where the record is kept. The plastic covers on these two albums are in generally good condition but there are a few splits in the outside plastic covering. The top seam on The Doors is split across the top and did have some tape holding it together at one time. The tape is gone now. Other than that split seam, the paper sleeves are quite nice. The Doors album is probably in VG++ condition with some minor scratches/scuffs. The Soft Parade is probably in Excellent condition with very minor scratches/scuffs. These were visually checked only, not played. The condition is quite good for their age. These vinyl albums are from a Vietnam War veteran’s collection which he purchased individually while stationed in Vietnam in the late 1960s, early 1970s.
