Two Rare and Early 7” Single Sided Shellac / Crystallate 78 rpm Records
by the Columbia Phonograph Co, New York & London c.1904
No.512 My Old Kentucky Home (vocal quartet) - In VGC for age, some degree of surface wear evident and several light scratches but none serious, and no chips. Label in good condition, as is conditions label on reverse which is by the American Graphophone Company. Patent App’d For stamped on back.
No.479 The Forge In The Forest (descriptive) - in generally poor condition, significant surface wear and scratches including on label. Patent App’d For stamped on back.
Records are graded as follows (please note I do not sell records graded Very Good (VG) or below i.e. with significant dulling of surface / scuffing / or scratches)
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) - surface reasonably glossy though may have moderate wear / rubs & scuffs, may have few light to moderate scratches
EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) - clean glossy surface with only light visible wear, may have light / moderate rubs and scuffs and a few light surface scratches
EXCELLENT (EX) - clean and glossy surface with no visible wear. May have few light rubs or surface marks, and very light surface scratches.
EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) - very clean and glossy surface with minimal light surface marks.
