Description
Set of 2 separate vinyl records on the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. "Can't Keep From Crying: Topical Blues on the Death of President Kennedy" is a USED 1964 compilation of blues songs written about the death of President Kennedy. Sleeve is in VG condition, with some wear and discoloration, and a former owner's name whited out in an upper back corner, but completely intact. See photos for more details. Record is in VG+ condition, with a bit of surface noise on opening cuts on A & B sides, but plays through fine and sounds good.
"The Controversy" is a NEW-- still in shrink wrap-- it's a 1967 spoken-word record including excerpts from the Warren Report PLUS eyewitness accounts of the assassination. This album is still sealed and the record is in mint condition. There is some sticker residue and staining on outside of the shrink wrap on the back of the album, but there are no stains on the album sleeve itself as its been protected by the still sealed shrink wrap. As a bonus a copy of Look Magazine from November 17, 1964, the JFK Memorial Issue, will be included with the purchase of these albums These items are from the collection of Sandy Gibson, musicologist and former Director of Publicity at Atlantic Records and is one-half of the online Musiographi team.
