Here are TWO vintage albums from my collection offered up for sale: The Lynyrd Skynyrd's FIRST and SECOND albums, both are vintage re-issue pressings, the first album has the gatefold cover with song lyrics inside and the Second album has a cool song promo sticker! This is the classic "Skynyrd" and a cool set of albums, great songs!
FIRST: Their 1973 debut album "Lynyrd Synyrd (pronounced. . .)", this is a re-issue pressing released by MCA Records, MCA-3019 Stereo. The vinyl rates VG+, is super glossy and clean, only a couple faint marks, nothing heavy, would rate higher but has a very light warp that does not effect sound quality! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish, clear sound, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The original pressing light brown labels are clean and bright, no stickers or writing, only a few spindle marks. The gatefold cover rates VG+, is clean, has great color, only light edge and corner wear, top seam had a partial split neatly repaired with clear tape, no signatures or writing, the binder edge is EX and readable, minimal ring wear, great front portrait of the band! The inside gatefold is clean, no center split. Still has the original black MCA printed inner sleeve.
PLUS: An a re-issue pressing of Lynyrd Skynyrd's 1974 second album "Second Helping" released by MCA Records, MCA-413 Stereo. This vinyl rates VG+, is super glossy and clean, would rate higher but has one small scuff mark (has a row of small marks) to an otherwise pristine disc, looks minimally played! PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish, only a couple light pops in "I Need You", otherwise excellent, clear sound, minimal surface noise, no skips or jumps! This cover rates NEAR MINT, is clean, has great deep color with no ring wear, all edges and corners EX and solid, no splits, no tape, no signatures, the binder edge is EX and readable, looks minimally handled! Still has the original white MCA printed inner sleeve.(see all photos)
